INTRODUCING SHUYAN Xu
Shuyan Xu is an artist guided by intuition, sensitivity, and a deep attentiveness to material presence. From an early age, she was drawn to drawing, making, and visual expression, experiencing art not simply as a skill, but as an instinctive way of perceiving the world.
Working across painting, calligraphy, and tactile forms of making, her practice is shaped by a quiet understanding of gesture, rhythm, and restraint. Her work reflects a search for honesty, depth, and inner clarity, offering a visual language that feels grounded, intimate, and enduring.

In respectful hands
Tsubame stems from a deep curiosity of material use and timeless craftmanship. Rooted in Japanese minimalism, inspired by scandinavian functionalism, our portfolio of suppliers are carefully curated to meet the highest craft and sourcing standards of modern furniture making.
